모종 2지구는 충청남도 아산시에 위치한다. 1층은 상업공간 그리고 2층부터는 2가구씩 총 4가구의 주거로 구성되게 된다. 최상층 한타입은 건축주의 가족의 공간으로 구성된다. 건축주는 홀로 아들과 딸 이렇게 두 자녀를 어머니 없이 양육하고 계신다. 그렇기 때문에 주방에 대한 관심 그리고 생각이 다른 남자 건축주들보다 더 많은 생각과 의견들을 건축설계시 주문을 하셨다. 건축주에게는 두 자녀를 키우는 공간이 다른 공간들보다 중요한 공간이었다. 건축가는 자녀들을 위한 공간도 중요하지만 아버지의 공간 역시 중요하다고 생각했다. 아버지의 공간이 더욱 더 독립적인 공간으로 구성이 될 때 가족 구성원들에게도 안전한 집이 만들어진다고 생각했다.

1층의 상업공간은 2개의 공간으로 나눠지며 오른쪽 공원과 연계되어서 고객들을 맞이하게 된다. 정문을 지나쳐 계단을 올라오게 되면 2가구의 다가구 주택을 맞이할 수 있다. 18평의 면적으로 3개의 방과 2개의 화장실로 구성되어 있다. 4인 가족을 위한 최적의 공간으로 구성되어 있으며 2층과 3층의 4개의 주거공간은 각기 다른 발코니와 평면구성을 갖게 된다. 또한 거실과 주방은 대면형으로 구성되어 작은 공간이지만 큰 공간으로서 느껴질 수 있도록 구성되어 있다. 3층은 2가구로 이루어져 있지만, 건축주의 주거가 전면에 배치하게 된다. 다른 3개의 주거 유닛과는 달리 방이 2개로 구성되며 다락으로 평면의 기능이 확장됨을 가지게 된다. 다락을 거쳐서 외부 루프공간은 가족들에게 마치 외부 마당이 있는 주택같이 느껴지게 될 것이다.

Project Mojong Zone 2 is located in Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do. The first floor is designated for commercial use, while the second floor and above accommodate two residential units per floor, totaling four units. The top floor unit is designed for the client's family. The client, a single father raising his son and daughter without their mother, has expressed significant interest in the kitchen design, reflecting the importance of this space for their daily lives. For the client, creating a nurturing environment for his children was paramount. The architect, however, emphasized that while spaces for the children are crucial, the father's space is equally important. An independent space for the father contributes to the overall safety and well-being of the household.

The ground floor commercial space is divided into two units, oriented towards the adjacent park to attract customers. Upon entering the main entrance and ascending the stairs, one arrives at the multi-family residential units. Each unit spans 18 pyeong, featuring three bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for a family of four. The residential units on the second and third floors boast unique balconies and floor plans. The open-concept living room and kitchen, though compact, are designed to feel spacious.

The third floor comprises two residential units, with the client's residence positioned at the front. Unlike the other three residential units, this one has two bedrooms and an expanded loft area, providing additional functional space. The loft leads to an exterior rooftop space, offering the family an outdoor area reminiscent of a private garden.
